When They Say For Profit, They Mean It

March 7, 2010

Margaret Soltan explores what kind of money we’re talking about when for-profit schools and educational institutions (e.g. Kaplan) follow through on their business model. The sky is the limit. I might be operating on a “punitive” pay model, but I don’t believe the head of any research one university should make more than, say, $250-300,000 dollars. I mean, most already get free cars, free houses, etc. How much is enough? – TL
