Chicago Tribune Links At H&E

November 5, 2007

About three months ago the Chicago Tribune redesigned their website. In doing so they made obsolete a number of H&E links to their stories. In many cases the change does not matter: I excerpted enough from the story to make sense of my post. In others, however, I sometimes commented on the story without excerpting.

In any case, to find the original story, normal research procedures apply: use LEXIS/NEXIS or the Tribune‘s for-pay database—probably available through your library of choice. A search within weekly parameters will likely do the trick. Often the original H&E post will contain the author’s name.

I apologize for any inconvenience caused. – TL
